The vending machines in Japan must be the most interesting in the world.

They are. I lived there for two and a half years and I just loved the vending machines in the Okinawan countryside (near the beaches) that serve beer and numerous unidentifiable beverages.

Their melon soft drinks were fantastic, though. And there are still days that I have a hankering for a can of Strawberry Calpis Soda.

That's quite simply unbelievable. I refuse to believe that. Speechless.

Hey, if Snopes confims it. It must be true.

I don't know, I'd rather drink a cucumber Pepsi than a Clamato. I read that some people mix it with beer. Uh yum?

I've never even been to Japan, but I got all but hooked on Gettin' Cool melon soda after finding it on sale at my neighborhood 7-Eleven, of all places...whereas nowadays, I can only find that stuff at the Asian grocery stores.

Funny!

I had a thought that Ice Cucumber might be a good mixer for bourbon.

They mix the Clamato with beer, which I find beyond disgusting.

Clamato with beer? Only uncivilised people like Americans could like the taste of something that filthy.

I tried Aloe chewing gum recently, and was more to my liking than I expected.

Admittedly Clamato has no reason to exist beyond (perhaps) uses in Italian cooking of which I understand nothing, but Beefamato, on the other hand, make the most orgasmic Bloody Mary you could imagine in your wildest dreams. *g*

On the rare occasion that my wife drinks a Bloody Mary she makes it with Clamato juice.

I love her anyway.

I will say that Clamato is a good ingredient in a tasty seafood stew.
