| I'm half film student, half deconstructionist. I guess I can come across as anoying to others, but if I couldn't deconstruct or study movies as well as watching them I wouldn't have any interest in them. |

| I have a mix of Old Timer and Indie-Ana Douche in me, especially lately. Not full-blown Indie-Ana, though — I absolutely loved The Dark Knight. |

The funny thing is, when the movie was first released, James Cameron really did claim Aliens was an allegory of the Vietnam war.
I think he was just BS-ing to film critics at the time, but it's still funny to have read that then and then see it reprinted years later as a joke. |
