Oh awesome! I have the special on VHS and I've converted it to DVD and AVI. If anyone wants to enjoy the riffing and doesn't have a copy, well, things could be arranged... (I am fiercely against trading copyrighted material but I relax for boots and things not obtainable by any sanctioned means...)

The main obstacle is securing the exact version Mike Nelson used. Otherwise the Rifftrax commentary and the movie aren't going to synch up.
Is there more than one version of the special available? |

I'm fairly sure the one I have represents the one that is most widely circulated. It would be nice if they would indicate which one they riffed though- the way to tell would be from the commercials.

Well, of course they do give a clue in the Rifftrax description:
"So ours is two hours long and has a descriptive scroll on the front end, just like the one you can Get frOm yOur friend Greg, in LakE VIDEO, Illinois."
You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure that clue out. Just take the capital letters and you come up with G-O-O-G-L-E VIDEO. (I don't think the "I" in Illinois counts.)
