See, here I am killing myself trying to come up with ways to get rich and that guy has one and doesn't even realize it. People with means and a certain decor would pay huge $$$$ for a keyboard/monitor setup like that. If I was rich I wouldn't blink an eye. He only sees "steampunk"- I see "elegant and goes in your stuffy traditional brass and leather filled office".

that really is cool. I always loved how they made modern gadgets look as if they could have been made in the 19th century.
For another fun artistic endeavour check out what is called Tilt shift photography. This is the use of special lenses, saturated color and blurring to collapse the depth of field in a photograph. This makes photos of real things look like painstakingly detailed models. It can also be done with motion pictures and video. As the NY Times said, it will eventually become cliche. But for now its a lot of fun to see. |

| This kind of stuff always amazes me. Probably one of the reasons is that I'm useless at anything that requires opening electronic stuff. I used to change cards and drives in my old 486 tower, but my new computer looks so futuristic I don't dare to open the carcass. |

STYLE. The word for it all. Why does that blend of Victorian ornateness go so well with modent tech? I'd guess because it brings life to an other wise boreing utilitarian device. Love the site header. If he can't sell this stuff for a profit, he's not trying!

That is awesome. And yes, that guy should be able to make a fortune. It's art as a part of life.

That's worth millions! For the mouse, I suggest some sort of telegraph key.
Themed computer cases would be great, expecialy when combined with desktop themes: Victorian, Art Deco, Egyptian, cartoon, Worl War Two military, ect.

I would love to see what he would do with the computer itself.
