Actually I think anyone can enjoy it, but some Cartesian graphical aids help:

My wife and I watched this last night and were pretty impressed at how clever it is. I can only claim to understand about 60% of what took place, and I'm not sure that it's worth watching over and over again to understand everything. But given how much we complain about the typically dunderheaded Hollywood fare, it was a lot of fun to see something so uncompromisingly complex.

It's a great movie. If you have a Netflix account, you can watch it immediately via streaming instead of waiting for the DVD to arrive.
