Don't forget Sorcerer, the highly underrated (imho)Wages Of Fear remake. Wow, this is a shock. I actually had no idea he was that old. And it seems odd he was in Little Rock for some reason. You don't think of stars living in ordinary places. Assuming he lived there of course.

He was apparently there undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma at the Univ of Arkansas Medical Sciences hospital for the past couple years. According to my wife (a local from them thar parts), Arkansas has quite a few hospitals of note.

Sad to hear that. I wondered if it was something wrong with him, as he barely appeared in movies anymore. Last time I saw him was in The Rainmaker. Apart of all the good movies you've mentioned, he also did cross Jabootu's playground at least once:

Roy Scheider and Gary Busey together. That's gotta be gold. Luckily Roy was kind of like Malcolm McDowell in that he's so fondly remembered for the good films that we forgive him the filthy lucre ventures.
