| For me is was an attempt to inform someone that the bootleg DVD they bought was a bootleg. I was attacked for doing so (by someone else), with the claim that obviously the person must know it was a bootleg and I was stupid to have joined just to tell them that. Thankfully the person who had bought the bootleg responding saying they didn't realize it was a bootleg, and thanked me for it, which made joining all worthwhile. I had even purposefully tried my best to not sound condescending or judgmental. I don't really have a big problem with bootlegs, but the person's post made it clear that he didn't realize his "import" DVD was a bootleg. This post, however, is supposed to be condescending and judgmental. So nyah! |
