I wonder what that one guy with the giant "wing" on one side is supposed to be. |

Man, them cats in Japan are weird...
Reminds me of the MXC eph. where the contestants were 'Real monsters Vs. Product mascots'.
They used some costumes from...from...Memory failure!...Red costume, grows giant to defend earth from rubber monsters...the big kahuna of those heros!...D'oh! He was in those pictures!....

Remembers me the good old days. I never cared for Ultraman and this kind of stuff, so for me ther good old days were when I zapped through the channels and I accidentally watched a few minutes of Power Rangers.
What really shocked for me about the show is that it was an American - Japanese show, with the American part involving almost everything save the fight scenes, and it was absolutely hilarious to see how Americans took their part of the show (the acting, the use of white humour, the presence of moral messages for the kids, etc.) rather seriously, only to lose all credibility when in the next scene the Rangers had to battle a mussle man or something similar. |

The ear creature...what the hell is up with that!?! For that matter, what's up with the one directly above it?? And the one with the giant lips above that?! It looks like what you'd get if Dracula vampirized Janice from "The Muppet Show."
I can't believe how many of those I don't recognize...I really need to start upping my dosage of tokusatsu.
(At least I recognized and remembered Spectreman...)
I'd love to know what shows some of them are from. (I'm guessing various "Dairanger"-type shows, since they seemed to specialize in crazy-ass critters.)
Maybe all that raw seafood they eat is dosed with mercury.
Or LSD.

Well let's see...
The one just below the ear monster I believe is from Ultra Seven, the four-way split screen pic one up from ear monster I think is of monsters from Choujin Barom, the B&W two down from mecha Kong is from Ultra Q, the one just below the second pic with Specter Man is Spider Man from the first Kamen Rider show, while the one above it is Banriki Mao from Denjiman...
