Hell yeah! Even if #2 sucked big time, at least this one looks like fun. I mean, it looks as if they're trying to replicate the first movie without a budget.

Aw, I thought it was gonna be that they were doing ST3 as some kind of legitimate anime. Troopers as seen through a Ghost In The Shell sensibility- THAT would freakin' rawk. They had that Roughnecks series, or whatever it was, already so the idea wouldn't be out of line.

I wish somebody with some sense would take over the property. If played according to the book, they could have one great franchise. It kills me to see what they are doing.

But, yeah, I think you're right Neville. It looks like they are trying to return to the original Verhoeven concept.

Wow, those effects are early 90's video game level. I thought the first ST was really stupid, but it did have great effects. Those bugs loooked incredibly real; they had mass and weight. These look pasted on.
