Comedian Benie Mac, known for his roles in Mr. 3000, The Ocean's Eleven series, has died. Mr. Mac decided he wanted to get into comedy after seeing Bill cosby make his mom laugh after she was crying, he started out telling jokes on Chicago's El platforms. He had bit parts in movies like Mo' Money, but his breakthrough came in the spike Lee film, the Original Kings of Comedy Bernie Mac was 50 years old.

| It's to bad. I always enjoyed him in the few movies of his that I've seen. He had good timing and was consistantly funny. It's just to bad that he passed away. I guess it's something that it was natural causes and not the usual drug overdose. Not exactly a positive thing, but to many people OD in that town. |
