I was reading this article about ravages of time.

I agree with some. Others I think can still be pulled back from the brink.

And some of them are still entertaining. On AND OFF screen.

Gibson, Kilmer, and Snipes haven't aged poorly at all.

Yeah, some of them didn't look too bad. Plus some of the others seemed to be comparisons between the highly doctored People covers and live camera or mugshots. You can make anyone look bad and with the ability digital cameras provide of snapping pictures like a loon, it doesn't take much. Finally, people do age and do so in different ways. Unless you are going to spend your time getting cosmetic surgery, working out four hours a day, and eating rabbit food, you aren't going to look like you did when you were 25.

Jude Law didn't look bad either.

Then there's Carrie Fisher who seemed to go directly from 19 to 45.

I know a lot of 45 year old women that look a lot better than that. The strange thing is, I still think she's hot. Margot Kidder now... not so much.

I just saw Witness on DVD, and watched the making-of documentary. Kelly McGillis doesn't look the same as she did at all. Actually, I still find her attractive; if we saw each other a lot in the mail room, I'd ask her out. But her appearance has changed a lot.

All things considered, I'm surprised Nick Nolte looks as good as he does.

I feel the same about Mickey Rourke.

I don't think Cruise, Gibson, Kilmer, Law, or Snipes look that bad.

One frightening word:

Redford.

From golden boy to tarnished prune. ugh

She was bred in old Kentucky, but she's just a crumb up here.
