Hey all.
Just got back from watching this, and it affected me more strongly than any similar style of movie in the last three years. Not saying it was an all-time masterpiece or anything, but definitely interesting, and DEFINITELY worth watching. Anyone else been yet?

| I can't wait to watch it, but I think I'll still have to wait several months. I'm not surprised by your reaction, though, this film comes from the guy who made Cube and Cypher, and the reviews from the film festivals have been very positive. |

I want there to be a character in a science-gone-bad movie who demands "Just how many BONG HITS did it take for this seemed like a GOOD idea?" when the mad scientist/EEEVIL CEO/crazed military guy/corrupt politition reviels "Project X".
Think of how many lives this would save.

I thought it fell apart in the final ten minutes, which was a real shame, because up to then, it was smart, thoughtful, honestly creepy.... everything you'd expect from the director of Cube. And even though the ending was a bust, one line.... (Dren: Inside... you.) had me whispering "Oh, sh!t." I'd already figured what was about to happen, but it didn't make it any less disturbing.
Overall, I'm with Jazzy. It's far from perfect, but it's definitely worth watching. |
