I think the SyFy people are taking this way more seriously than Ferguson meant it to be. It makes them look desperate for any public figure to approve of their cheap crap.

You know Grand Funk, don't you? The wild, shirtless lyrics of Mark Farner? The bong-rattling bass of Mel Schacher? The ... adequate drumwork of Don Brewer?

Sounds reasonable to me. I was suprised how much he knew about Corman, and his mention of Elvira.
