Posting activity on this board has slowed considerably over the past year or so. In some cases, members have migrated on to Jabootu.net. Others have simply gotten a life (go Hank Brennan!) That, no doubt, accounts for part of the slowdown. Also we've beaten the same subjects to death so many times that we've run out of things to talk about. (A Uwe Boll flame thread, anyone? Er... anyone?... chirp chirp chirp.)
Before the cobwebs envelop this forum completely, I thought maybe it would be a good time for us to express our thanks to Ken and to our fellow board members in general.
For instance: I just saw Dog Soldiers for the first time tonight. I never even heard of this movie until someone mentioned it on this board. And I certainly would never even considered renting it if someone hadn't recommended it. (C'mon, let's face it, this movie features some of the most retarded DVD box art ever. No wonder it gathers dust on most DVD store shelves.) As it turned out though, Dog Soldiers was a very pleasant surprise. So whoever first gave the shout-out... thanks!
Anyone else care to share their thoughts/thanks? |

| I started George Martins Fire and Ice Series based on a recommendation here. Of course now I'm addicted, and it looks like the series will never be finished. But I still appreciated the heads up. |

| I love this site. I take a peek pretty much daily to see if there's anything. There usually isn't, but I still like re-reading the Reader's Reviews. |
