Chris reports that the comments should be back at the new site in a few days or say, if all goes well, but until then let's pull the sheets off the furniture and dust the old place.

This weekend, between the World Series and football, I watched a pair of silent movies: Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and Phantom of the Opera. Both movies' stars were excellent, but I think I got more of a kick from Lon Chaney. Dr. J and Mr. K scores points for the out-of-f**kin'-nowhere giant spider scene. That scared the piss out of me because it was the last thing on earth I expected.

If they want to to reboot THE GREEN SLIME, it's easy. They blew up the asteroid they found the goo on, right?
So, a space miner finds some 'Flora fragments', he takes them to another space station, and boom, ya got at least a sequel!

So, who should star in this cheese log? I'd like to see it as a Simon Pegg deal. You?

What's everyone think of the TCM Halloween filmfest so far?

Some good movies in the mix... I was glad to see Dead of Night again (especially since it's no longer available on DVD) but most of the choices to me seem meh.

Last year they devoted an entire month to Hammer. No such luck this year.
