Hi,
I don't think warner bros is ever going to release Swat Kats on DVD. I contacted one of the managers. Her name was Rita Cooper. I asked her if there is a chance of finishing those three unfinished episodes. Reply was "No" like usual Swat Kats fans expect.

I also requested her about the releasing of Swat Kats DVDs. And Reply was "No, not at this time." According to me, modern Warner Bros tv cartoons are becoming really bad.

And they are releasing more worst cartoons. That is what annoys me. But Swat Kats was an excellent show with excellent stories. After Mook studios closed in 1999, most of the cartoons were becoming bad at animation and stories.

Anyway, I don't think there is a way to Swat Kats on DVD either.

What is everyone's opinion?

I understand the problem, I have for years wanted this series on DVD and I am going to do it for myself. I have a DVD recorder hooked up to my Satillite and am going to start recording them from the Boomerang channel as they are starting to show them this week. the quality will be better then dvd since I am recording them using the fastest speed for DVD as well as recording them from a digital source to a digital media DVD-R's I have done this with other shows and find they come out better then the studio releases as they use 2 hr mode I use 1 hour mode (I go through more DVD-R's but the quality is better. If anyone would like copies let me know once I get them all on dvd I'll edit out commercials and make menus and chapters with my computer. Thanks

Not much probebly Just shipping since it is a copy-righted show and I am not making a profit. I am recieving Boomerang from my Free-to-air Satellite Reciever that unlocks all Dish-Net channels for free without subscribing so they come in digitally clear. And when they hit the keys to scramble the channels the autoroll will get the new keys so I don't loose the reception. I will make copies of them using the highest possible recording settings they will come out in DVD quality since I am recrding them right from the tv to dvd-r's. When they finish playing both seasons I will make up the copies and lable them and send them out. You can pay be paypal which is free if you sign up or money order that can be cashed in Canada. I use Sony brand dvd-r's as my recorder is sony. I'll keep you informed they just finished season 1 already yesterday so they are starting on Season 2 today. thanks for your intrest.

call up a store that sells satellite dishes and ask them you want an FTA system (reciever, dish, cable, Disc Switch) after the dish is installed and hooked up to the reciever it will unscramble any Dishnet Channel make sure when you get the system you tell them you want the autoroll and epg fix this way when Dishnet changes the keys or zaps the reciever the autoroll will automatically fix it and the reception will return after a few seconds. I get all the PPV's,Stations, (Cartoon network, Nickelodeon, Nick Toons, Boomerang, Disney Channel, Toon Disney, HBO, Starz, ect.) be expected to pay between $200 - $400 CAD for a system....but... you never have to pay a monthly fee so it's worth it. Thanks for asking!

Yes it is that is the same system I have, just make sure you tell them you want the reciever pre-programmed so all the channels will be in the reciever when you get it. It is a safe site as i have ordered from them before, make sure you get a duel LNB so you can get all dish-net channels (you can even by another LNB and get all the Bell ExspressVu channels too) you may have to get someone to point the dish for you and install it (but you get a signal finder in that package which will tell you when you have a signal) Good Luck! let me know how it goes.

No it is no HD reciever, but I use the S-Video connection to the TV and it comes in nice and clear with no pixalizing either one but my fortec Ultra is just as good and faster when channging channels also has an EPG guide so you can see what's on the channel now and whats next show on that channel (you need the EPG fix most stores around your area can do it for you. If you know of a Satellite store in your area they can help you out too! Hope this helps :)
