Let's throw the reader board a bone: suggest for me a horror film to review. That's a genre I've never done. Must be color, have seen a theatrical release, released on or after my birthday (or thereabouts - let's say 1980), cannot be X or NC-17 or unrated. And it must be really, really bad.

Poltergeist III is a possibility. Hide and Seek is another. Actually, though, I'm kinda leanin' toward Food's suggestion.

Good suggestions, definitely. Another possibility is Troll II. You know, the one with no troll in it.

How about Critters? It's a bit silly in places, and a lot a bit bad, and got 3 sequels (the last two Direct to Video) so it could be worth it.

I'm always late to these things...
If you're still looking, how about "Oasis of the Zombies" (it's got a guy wearing a fez - how can you go wrong with that?) or "Bloodtide" starring James Earl Jones - utterly incomprehensible. Bad, bad, bad.
There's little wonder as to why these were found both on those 50 cheapie movie packs.

Thank you, everybody.
What do you guys think about Halloween: Resurrection, feardotcom, Prom Night or Bloodrayne. Do any of those tickle your ivories?

Is Halloween: Resurrection the one that pissed in fans' faces by killing off Jamie Lee? I wrote up Bloodrayne a couple of years ago, but it'd be fun to hear your take on it (and yours would probably be a lot better). I say, go with one of those.

Hmm...feardotcom has "stupid" written all over it, so it may not be much of a challenge for the person who when toe to toe with Tom Green. You've already traversed the game/videogame movie wilderness, so Bloodrayne's out of the top spot. Although, it does feature the fine thespian talents of one Meat Loaf &, really, you can't go wrong where Mr. Loaf's concerned. Halloween's got Busta Rhymes, though. Prom Night's got the original Johnny Cage, Linden Ashby.
My, what a dilemma. I think my head's going to explode.
I say go with the cheesiest big name listed.
Go with the Loaf. Go with Bloodrayne.

Watched Bloodrayne with my sister and a couple of friends tonight. Very bad. Look for a review before Halloween.

What about "Ghost story" from 1981? It's way older than the titles you've been throwing around, and it's not exactly bad bad, but it has plenty of WTF? moments.
