| I have attempted to watch several of them because it sounded like a good premise, but I have found that most are just awful! I did kinda like the one with the Pteradactyls, but without the stupid sub-plot about terrorists. Also "Creature" with Kim Cattrell in a Bikini was not to bad. But the one with the Raptors was just laughable. Also there was one with Jud Nelson as some kinda pysychic in the bermuda triangle....boring. |

I can't think of any good ones. "Evolver" keeps popping into my head. Yeesh.

Was that Lost Voyage? I actually liked that one. Event Horizon without the stupidity. |

| The D&D sequel was almost decent. At the very least noteable for some cool D&D items and a fantasy hero that remains happily married through all of the movie. |

I stopped watching after the guy gets fried working on the power lines. |

But right after that was the bit that gave the film extra credit (at least for me). Lance Henriksen is in charge of the salvage operation, and really wants the money. So when one of his crew is killed...well, in any other movie, he would insist on continuing, smash the only radio, rant about how no one was going to get his money, etc, etc.
In Lost Voyage, he immediately announced that the mission was over and he tried to contact the coast guard to get everyone off safely.
He didn't accomplish this, but still, that's unheard of in these kinds of movies. See Virus for example. |

| I stopped watching it because it was just a re-tread of "Ghost ship", "Virus", and "Deep Rising". |

That reminds me of why I liked the movie IDENTITY so much, even though I pretty much hate the entire genre of "one-by-one-they-die" horror films. When the group realizes that they are being killed one by one, the John Cusack character immediately announces, "Okay, we are all going into this room together and NOBODY LEAVES until help arrives".
You know, Hollywood has hit a really sad state when characters in leadership positions who act responsibily and intelligently are worthy of note because they are just so rare... |
