Not to keep harping on this Smith/Hitler thing, but I'm really convinced now that there was a hell of a lot more than meets the eye vis a vis those comments. From these stories, Cruise seems obviously trying to bag the guy and his wife for his own demented ends:

I'm just trying to connect some dots here, but Cruise is playing a Nazi in an upcoming movie and Germany is giving him a lot of grief over Scientology which is banned there. Next thing you know, Will Smith is out yakking about how Hitler could have been "reprogrammed". Through Scientology perhaps? Methinks that Cruise may have recruited him and his wife to an anti-German jihad. The man could be as lost to us now as Katie Holmes!
