Mine comes from the Gerry Anderson puppetmation show "Terrahawks." I thought the name was cool, I'm not, and hoped for some osmosis.

Pippi Longstocking. As the only redhead in an extended family of blondies (and only left-hander...and only non-blue eyed...and the shortest), this was seen as "funny".

Used it as a radio name in college. It started as "Daniel Demento" in homage to Dr. Demento who I was big on at the time, then I decided I wanted a title like Doctor and chose Reverend.
And then quickly got sick of spitting out "The Reverend Daniel Demento" at every station break and shortened it.
I have no idea why I chose it for these boards. I've only used it one other place, and that's been down for years.

I used to write to Gary Burbank, who recently retired from YEARS on 700 WLW, Cincinnati.
I got into his letters segment as Meatloaf Mike, inspired by other regulars such as Cheese Burrito Fred,ect.
Gary liked my stuff, and it has encouraged my comedy...so blaim him!
Anyhoo, since SOMEONE ELSE stole my monniker at Yahoo...thanks ya jerk...I chose an alternate name, from my letters from the Columbus State Home For The reality Impared.
And, its many residents...
