| YouTube is a treasure of Jabootu worthy superhero movies from all over the world. You must check out the Turkish Superman movie "Superman Returns" (not the recent quite decent Hollywood movie), There is also an Indian Superman movie that simply has to be seen to be believed. Best of all (or worst) there is Darna from the Philippines. Darna first appeared in a comic book in 1947 and has been made into around a dozen movies beginning in 1951 and most recently a 2004 television series. The most popular actress to play Darna was Vilma Santos in the 1970s. Several Darna movies can be seen in their entirety on YouTube. For bad superhero movies these really are unsurpassed. |
