If you've seen the movie, and you know the source novel by Richard Matheson, you probably were disatisfied with the ending the studio chose for the movie.
This is an alternate ending found in DVD editions. It's not much more faithful to Richard Matheson's novel, but it sure is more subtle and coherent with the rest of the movie.
