| Getting back to the orignal post Incredible Hulk isn't really a remake. It's a kind of a remake but effectively a sequel in the same way Evil Dead II was. The Hulk's origin story which probably doesn't 100% gel with the events of the first movie is covered in montage over the opening credits featuring the new cast. When the movie proper begins Banner is hiding out in South America, where, if my memory serves me right, he was heading in the end of Hulk. Effectively it kind of stays away from the stuff in Ang Lee's Hulk but doesn't blatantly contradict it from what I can recall of the 2003 movie. |
