A tragedy. Always found his earliest work sort of annoying, too actor's studio, but from The verdict onwards he always was nothing short of magnificent.
Tonight Spanish TV is showing Twilight. I think it's a great choice for a homage, I believe it's the last movie he starred in, he's great on it, and one of its themes is getting old. |

I knew about Paul's departing for a while. I was reading articles like this.
I don't know if I should laugh or cry.:
Legendary petrolhead Paul Newman took his GT1 Corvette out for a few laps earlier this month as he said goodbye to one of his greatest loves. The actor and former driver is terminally ill with lung cancer and is believed to have just weeks to live. Lime Rock Park race track in Connecticut was close for two hours so that Newman, aged 83, could take his race car out for the last time. His friends, family and race team mechanics were in attendance for Newman’s final race.

I loved Paul's movies. I loved Paul's popcorn. I will miss him.
