What's funny is that there is no such thing a "Corinthian Leather." The advertisers just made up the term and used it because it sounded nice.

Montalban had a reputation for being a true gentleman as well as a fine actor. He will be missed.

Hell, I actually watched that one Spy Kids movie willingly just because he was in it as the grandfather. He was one of those actors that could draw me to anything he was in just because he had such charisma and style about him.

Along with Fantasy Island and ST II, I fondly remember his couple of appearances as "Armando Gutierrez" on the short-lived WB cartoon Freakazoid.

He always struck me as similar in personality and talent to Vincent Price, and that's a very good thing in my book.

I seem to associate Ricardo Montalban with ELEGANT characters. I don't associate him with Vincent Price.
