I guess del Toro is out and Jackson is back directing the prequel, huh? Missed that one. Checking the IMDB, I noticed Hugo Weaving isn't mentioned in the cast, yet Orlando Bloom as Legolas is. This could be a typical IMDB oversight, but wasn't Elrond in the book?

I'll have to ask the daughter who knows all things Tolkien. If he was in The Hobbit it was a small part.

On the movie front, this whole production chaos does not bode well for the films.
