Been wanting to write about The Dead for nearly two years now; there've been a lot of things going on in my life and I had to put this on the back burner. Wanted to try and get in a review of a bad movie before writing about a truly great one.
I've been considering a couple of obscure older flicks, so let's do the old first-two-votes-wins thing. The nominees are Mazes and Monsters and Dot and the Kangaroo. I'm sure Mazes will win this one, but keep in mind that Dot is on Youtube (at least for now), and I can start taking down notes immediately, rather than having to wait for the Netflix queue to catch up.

I've never heard of Dot, but I do remember Mazes and Monsters. So I vote for Mazes and Monsters.

| Mazes it is. It's not available on Netflix, but I can probably get it on eBay for about four or five bucks. I'll be tied up the next couple of weeks, but hopefully it'll be done in time for Halloween. |

| Don't worry about it. I didn't realize it wasn't available until I tried to order it off Netflix. Besides, five bucks off eBay or three bucks from Netflix? Meh, no biggie. Anyway, it's on the way, and I'll get a review out as soon as I can. |

| I really wanted to get that review done by Halloween. Wouldn't you know it, Amazon screwed up and told the seller to send the DVD to my OLD address! Sheesh! Anyway, it should get here sometime next week, so hopefully I'll have something out around the middle of the month. |
