I usually don't have much to say about horror films that I watch, especially when they're a huge wad of crap, but in the realm of cult horror, this movie The Rockville Slayer hit the target right on. Of course, teenagers get murdered, an escaped mental patient is running around, and the cinematography looks like a student film.
Somehow, this all works brilliantly. I caught my first glimpse of this at UMVD and got the whole film to watch on DVD, pretty happy with how I spent my 90 minutes that night. The film is directed/produced/written by Marc Seliz, and includes the guy from Maniac Cop. And yes, girls, gore, and guttings.
