| To those of you who have been praying for Shalom Ben Sara Malka: Shalom died yesterday. As I told his wife, Aviva, this morning, he was a wonderful man, he lead a wonderful life, with a wonderful wife and family, soon he and Aviva will be together forever. May he rest in peace. Thank you all for your prayers and Happy Thanksgiging. |

Actually, I'm probably not fasting this weekend -- I just suffered a stroke last week, and I'm a little shaky yet.

I'm a little shaky on my feet, one hand and the side of my face are a bit numb, and my vocal cords are mostly paralyzed. And I take lots of naps. Otherwise, I'm much better off than you would expect of someone who just had a stroke.

| Dear Nate: How about an update on your condition? To all of you who have been praying for Ruchama bat Esther Blima, I saw her grandparents last weekend. She's been moved to a short term care facility. Her parents are learning to care for her. She needs an operation on her hip joint. I thank all of you for your prayers. |
