I've had a surprising recovery for a guy who had a stroke. I get around without a cane, and there's only slight residual numbness in parts of my face. My vocal cords are still largely paralyzed (which means the church choir is hurting for another bass), and I need to sleep upwards of 10 hours a day, but other than that, I'm almost back to normal.
All that sleep sure does cut into movie-watching time, though...

| To all of you who have been praying for Ruchama bat Esther Blima, she is doing very well. I've seen a photograph of her. Her hair is straight and copper red. She's adorable. G-d willing, her parents will be able to bring her, and her breathing equipment, home soon. NShumate, where and how are you? |

I'm pretty much better. My voice is still creaky, but otherwise I go about my business as usual. Pretty bizarre, to have recovered from a stroke so cleanly so quickly.
