I...uh...sort of made that up. OK, I admit it: I'm not up on the whole bloggy/internetty/computery stuff here; that sort of passed me by...BUT! I was trying to describe the blog programs like the one that Ken uses here.

Been trying to catch up on the reviews (am about halfway through ZP -- Excccelllent, Excccelllent). Of the 2007 reviews I've gotten to my Favorites are:
UNDER A CHERRY MOON -- Did Prince wake up one day (or evening?) and decide that he MUST create a monument to The Great God Jabootu that will stand for all time?
DIRTY LOVE -- Whoa! Pip, you have taken cinematic lead and turned it to comedy gold -- What alchemy is this? I love your Greek mythology references!
CROSS ROADS -- Ooops -- Ken does it again!
After I finish Zabriskie Point, I think GLITTER will be next.

I use Wordpress for my blog (like Ken). It's pretty easy to use and I was able to use the software, with few hassles, on my own URL. Nathan of "Million Monkey Theater" recently did the same: http://www.millionmonkeytheater.com/

Also, the [url="http://www.Jabootu.com/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=5"]Readers' Reviews / Minions' Opinions[/url] section of this board is working again, and the posts there no longer expire like they used to (which sucked, but our former host enforced ridiculously small database size limits). Anyway, that section's there for exactly that kind of thing, so have at it if you want to.

The Rocky epic was wonderful. I dug most of the Nuggets as well. I think my favorite of last year's stuff is either Under the Cherry Moon or {i}Beach Girls and the Monster[/i].

A month late & several dollars short, as usual, but, I'd like to toss my name into the hat, if anyone's still looking into doing the whole collaborative movieblogamabob. I've kind of got my own up & running (through Blogspot, though, not it's not the link in my signature), but, between work family & life in general, cranking out regular material is pretty difficult, as I'm sure Mr. Begg can attest to.

Because of Ken's review of the Paul Lynde Halloween Special, I Netflixed a copy and just watched it.

I didn't think it could be as bad as Ken said it was, and I was right. Unfortunately it was worse. |
