For some reason the comments section of the Tarkan recap isn't working for me. Anyway, the recap is a riot but the geography of the movie isn't quite as insane as the history. I'm probably putting more thought into this than the filmakers did but ... well ... the Turks didn't arrive in Anatolia until the 11th century so there's wasn't really any "Turkey" back in Hun or Viking times. The Hunnic Empire covered much or Eastern and Northern Europe:

So it's remotely possible that the fimmakers were locating the action in the Baltic regions or Northern Germany. Of course they probably didn't consider any of this at all and just didn't care.

Those are the cutest "wolves" ever. Snausages- tee hee! I am *so* buying a dog just so I can name it Yurt.
