Here are a few trivia questions for you. I know that its easy to look up the answers but trust me its a lot more fun to work your memory and not to look them up.

In the song Walking In A Winter Wonderland what do they name the snowman?

What is Frosty the snowman's nose made from?

What is the only thing that Alvin (of chipmunks fame) want for Christmas?

St. Nicholas was a very real person. What country was he from?

What gift comes on the fourth day of Christmas? The eighth?

What Christmas movie had the biggest box office opening (in nominal terms) ever?

Where was mommy when I saw her kissing Santa Claus?

Where was grandma going when she was run over by a reindeer?

thats all I can think of quickly. If there is any interest I'll come up with more.

Ok, without cheating with Google fu, I'll try a few.

Parson Brown for Winter wonderland.
Button nose for Frosty.
No idea on Alvin.

8 Maids a milking.
Do you mean the largest opening on the Dec 25th weekend, or the largest Christmas themed movie? If the later, probably one of the Santa Clause films, or maybe home alone, although Inflation hurts it a bit.

Mistletoe.

Not sure on the others.

The movie answer that I was fishing for is indeed Home Alone.

There was something about a Hula Hoop in the Chipmunk Christmas song but I don't know if that's it.

Grandma was walking home.

Four calling birds.

Grandma was coming home from our house when she got run over by a reindeer. FWIW, I hate that f**kin' song.

I'm with Food on hating that song. Although, I must say, a couple of parodies of the parody weren't too bad: around the early nineties, someone came up with "Saddam Got Run Over By A Reindeer" and my personal favorite "New Kids Got Run Over."

I'll complete it (without searching):

St. Nicolas was a Greek Cardinal in Turkey, (I think) and Santa got kissed "underneath the missletoe".

Bonus Question:
What country did the name "Santa Claus" come from?

"The Queen is testing poisons." CLEOPATRA, 1935

Here's a few: we all know Bing Crosby introduced "White Christmas". But who introduced these songs?

"Silver Bells"
"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"

A special bonus if you can name the movies they're from.

The Netherlands (it's corrupted from "Sinterklaas", the Dutch name for St. Nicholas).

Didn'T know that about Santa Claus. Thanks for the info.

I have read that the gift of 4 calling birds is actually a misheard lyric. It should be "colly birds". Colly was the old word for coal and so it was birds the color of coal or black birds. As the word colly faded from use and "calling" sort of made sense it became the lyric.

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"
Meet Me In St. Louis (Judy Garland)
"White Christmas"
Holliday Inn (Bing)
I've always wondered if the motel chain was named after the movie.

I wish I could find the Mad Magazine version of The 12 Days Of christmas where "Mary christmas" writes replys to "Marvin Truelove's" gifts:
"Marvin! Let me tell you about Calling Birds: they call to each other! TWENTY-FOUR HOURS A DAY!"

"The Queen is testing poisons." CLEOPATRA, 1935

Right on Judy Garland and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". But how about "Silver Bells"?

Bob Hope introduced Silver Bells in The Lemon Drop Kid.

She was bred in old Kentucky, but she's just a crumb up here.
